REBECCA LINDY COLL
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR EMERITUS

Rebecca joined Wondermore in 2014 with more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership. Her background includes strategic development, design, and event management. Her favorite books growing up were The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles by Julie Andrews Edwards, Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren and Finn Family Moomintroll by Tove Jansson.

KIM MAIDA
GRANT WRITER

Kim joined Wondermore in 2021. Her background is in grants management for Native American Tribes. She has successfully secured over $6 million in Federal, State and Private grants to support culturally relevant social programs. She also has experience in journalistic writing as a published writer for local magazines. Her favorite books growing up were Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl and Holes by Louis Sachar.

KERSTIN THOMMES
Director of Operations

Kerstin joined Wondermore in 2017. Her background includes experience in accounting, budgeting and fundraising for non-profits. In addition, Kerstin brings her experience as an ESL teacher and German language teacher. Her favorite books when she grew up were Momo by Michael Ende and Lottie and Lisa by Erich Kaestner.

KIM WESTHEIMER
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kim joined Wondermore in 2024, merging decades of experience in nonprofits and education with a love of literature and a commitment to fostering schools where students see their lives reflected and respected. Her varied experience includes program design and development, fundraising, research, teaching, writing, and film. A couple of her favorite books growing up were A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L’Engle and Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary.

program DIRECTOR

Pam joined Wondermore in 2019. Her career in children’s literature began as a bookseller, grew into publishing, then transitioned to being a school librarian. Her favorite books growing up were Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein and Beauty by Robin McKinley.
